Admin Tutorial: Reviewing and Publishing Service Content

As an Administrator, you play a critical role in curating the content that appears on the Portugal Odyssey platform. This tutorial explains how to use the Content Review tool to process partner requests and manage AI transformations.

1. Navigating to Content Review

  1. Log in to the Admin Console.
  2. Click on Content Review in the sidebar.
  3. You will see a list of Pending Revisions from various partners. These are requests with the status Awaiting Admin Actions or Awaiting Admin Approval.

2. Triggering AI Processing

When a partner submits new original text:

  1. Select the revision from the list.
  2. Review the Original Text and any Partner Notes.
  3. Verify the Requested AI Actions (Translate, Sanitize, Enhance, etc.).
  4. Click Trigger AI Processing.
  5. Wait a few moments for the AI to generate the Translated Variants. The status will automatically update to Awaiting Partner Approval once complete.

3. Manual Review and Adjustments

Even with AI, manual oversight ensures the highest quality.

  1. Navigate to the Translated Variants section of a revision.
  2. Switch between the language tabs (Portuguese, English, Spanish).
  3. Click Edit Manually on any variant to refine the AI output.
  4. Save your changes to that variant.

4. Approval Workflow

Requesting Partner Approval

If you have made significant manual changes to the AI output, or if you want the partner to double-check the translations: 1. Add an Admin Note explaining your changes. 2. Click Request Partner Approval. 3. The status will change to Awaiting Partner Approval, and the partner will be notified.

Final Approval (Publishing)

Once the partner has approved the revision (status will be Awaiting Admin Approval): 1. Perform a final check of all language variants. 2. Click Approve. 3. The status changes to Published, and the content immediately goes live on the public frontend.

5. Managing the Catalog

Only Administrators can define which service fields are eligible for this advanced workflow.

  1. (Developer/DB required for now - future UI will be in Catalog Management).
  2. Standard fields already included: description, short_description.

Pro-Tips for Admins

  • Moderation: Always ensure the Sanitize action is selected if you suspect the partner's original text might contain contact info, external links, or inappropriate content.
  • Consistency: Check the Enhanced text to ensure the tone aligns with the Portugal Odyssey brand across all partners.
  • History: Use the Revision History section at the bottom of the page to see previous versions and understand how the content has evolved.
